The term "vacation" is incorrect. "Authorized procrastination" is the correct term.

Bin it all. If you weren't there, how can anyone have given you anything? Also, ctrl + a and shift + del in Outlook so you can start with a clean mailbox. If anything is important people will email you again!

I was actually given noticed during vacations of layoffs in my company. If I would have Ctrl+a & shift+del, I would have been back & working for free 🤣
