Planning is a social activity that makes us feel like we are constructive and connected. Following a plan is a quality activity that makes us feel like we are working. Most employees have a preference for one of these, and it ain't the latter.

Actually that's a realistic goal. At my job they want to plan for the next 5 years...no need to tell how is it going so far...;)
